Formerly known as Revenue Canada

Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) is a federal agency that governs and implements the tax laws of Canada. CRA also administers social and economic benefits through our tax system. Canadians interact with CRA by filing our income tax returns, remitting GST/HST collected by business owners, remitting payroll withholding taxes and deductions and receiving benefits such as: UCCB, GST Sales Tax Credit, CCTB, WITB and other provincial related benefits like Ontario Trillium Benefit. CRA has hotlines available to the public if you have any tax related questions.
